Halifax Regional Municipality Commuter Options Study

Delphi-MRC was engaged by the Regional Planning Division of HRM in Nova Scotia to develop a program to encourage and enable staff to use alternative modes of travel to and from work as a means of reducing their dependency on single-passenger car use. The work included a web-based employee survey, a management workshop and focus groups to 1) establish a baseline of current trip-making behavior, and 2) to determine the preferred strategy.
